Improving conversion across the board

Converting the Hero

To convert the Essent’s hero image from a single statement+cta to a full fledged conversion funnel, we decided to create a conversion card that could easily be placed inside a hero image. Darkening the branding image also resulted in a conversion uplift as the card is even more in focus.

Different chapters (branding, content and acquisition) wanted to claim their space above the fold. By introducing a simple 3 column grid, all three chapters were granted their own “space” above the fold.

A uniform lead converter

By utilizing Essent Design System’s card-framework we we’re able to create a uniform way to display conversion cards that are easily adjusted for different products/applications. With this minimalistic card setup we we’re able to significantly increase conversion by up to 30%.
